Abstract - This research proposes “Integrated Network Intrusion Detection System (INIDS)” which is NIDS for wire/wireless networks. INIDN consider features of the three layers; transport and Internet layers for wire and data link layer for wireless. The proposal is a Data Mining (DM)-based INIDS, which trained over a labeled wire and wireless datasets (each transaction labeled normal, intrusion name or unknown), INIDS is a hybrid IDS (anomaly and misuse). INIDS, train and construct two separated proposed models these are, Wire-NIDS and Wireless-NIDS then integrate the two models to build the final INIDS. Wire-NIDS use NSL-KDD dataset; use Principle Component Analysis (PCA) as a feature extraction, and use Support Vector Machine (SVM) with Artificial Neural Network (ANN) as classifiers. Wireless-NIDS use proposed Wdataset dataset, use Gain Ratio (GR) as feature selection, and use Naïve Bayesian (NB) as a classifier. The results obtained from executing the proposed INIDS model showing that Wire-NIDS and Wireless-NIDS classifier accuracy and detection rate is generally higher with the subset of features obtained by PCA (8 from 41) and GR (8 from 17) than with all sets of features. Proposed confusion matrix of INIDS gives less confusion in detection rates with reduced features.
Keywords: IDS, SVM, ANN, NB, PCA, and GR.

Abstract-The technique of fusing a panchromatic (Pan) SAR image that has a highspatial
and low-spectral resolution with multispectral (MS) SAR images that have a
low-spatial and high spectral resolution is very useful in many remote sensing
applications that require both high-spatial and high-spectral resolution. In this paper,
method for fusion SAR image is proposed based on framelet transform and new
selection rule. The framelet transform is nearly shift-invariant with desired properties,
short support, and symmetry. In the selection rule of proposed method, max rule is
replaced with new relation depending on input SAR image. The proposed method is
compared with other method such as HIS, PCA and wavelet methods. A quality of fused
image is calculated based on the combination entropy, the correlation coefficient and
the peak signal to noise ratio. It is showed from simulation result the quality measured
for proposed method can indicate the information content of the fused image is higher
compared to the information content of the input panchromatic and multispectral
images, also its noticed the proposed method provides richer information comparing
with other methods.

Abstract- The goal of clustering is to determine the intrinsic grouping in a set of unlabeled data depending on some similarity measure (e.g. Euclidean distance). In this paper a steady state genetic algorithm (SSGA) approach is used to cluster true color images. After splitting the original images into red, green and blue components and displaying the image of each part, Steady State Genetic Algorithm (SSGA) is used to cluster the image to determine the number of clusters for the image by generating an initial population randomly and then applying the different operations of GA such as fitness function computation, selection, crossover, mutation and stopping condition. In the Crossover stage 1X, PMX and UX methods used for crossover between two parents to produce a new child. In addition to that another clustering method which combines k-mean algorithms and k-harmonic mean algorithms are used. The last clustering algorithm uses two functions to find the cluster centers for each image. Finally root mean square error is used to find the difference between the clustering and original image.

Abstract –Hexagonal hexapod robot is a flexible mechanical robot with six legs. It
has the ability to walk over terrain. The hexapod robot likes insect so it has the same
periodic gaits. These gaits are tripod, wave and ripple gaits. Hexapod robot needs to
stay statically stable at all the times during each gait in order not to fall with three or
more legs continuously contacts with the ground. The safety static stability walking can
be indicated by the stability margin. In this paper we based on the forward, inverse
kinematics for each hexapod’s leg to simulate the hexapod robot model walking for all
periodic gaits and the geometry in order to derive the equations of the sub-constraint
workspaces for each hexapod’s leg. They are defined as the sub-constraint workspaces
volumes when the legs are moving without collision with each other and they are useful
to keep the legs stable from falling during each gait. A smooth gait was analyzed and
enhanced for each hexapod’s leg in two phases, stance phase and swing phase. The
equations of the stability margins are derived and computed for each gait. The
simulation results of our enhanced path planning of the hexapod robot approach whish’s
include all the gaits are statically stable and we are compared between all stability
margins for each gait. In addition, our results show clearly that the tripod gait is the
fastest gait while the wave and the ripple gaits are more stable than the tripod gait but
the last one has less peaks of stability margins than others.

The agriculture is vulnerable and sensitive to climate changes. These changes reduce the production while encouraging the growth of bush, which lead to water consumption extravagantly. In this paper, we proposed an automatic drip irrigation system based on calculating the required crop water and irrigation depth. The aim of the proposed system is to automatically compute irrigation scheduling of certain crop according to a crop type and climatological conditions. This system includes two parts: hardware and control center. The sensors send their real-time readings of the soil moisture and climatic information to the monitoring part of the system wirelessly and then save them in database server. The hardware part consists of a main unit represented by ARDUINO Uno and sensors of soil moisture and DHT11. The wireless communication link between the hardware and control center parts are covered using Bluetooth HC-06. In the control center, the database is built using SQL server 2015 and the related Graphical User Interface (GUI) frames is designed using Visual Studio C#. The proposed system has been presented in a prototype to represent the case study and the obtained results show a clear reduction of power and water consumption.

Abstract:
In this paper, a new secret-key block cipher called 512 bits RC6 is proposed which is an evolutionary improvement of the 128 bits RC6 designed to meet the requirements of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to increase security and improve performance. The inner loop is based around the same round found in the 128 bits RC6.
The proposed algorithm includes two things the first is doubling the pervious 128 bits RC6 to 256 bits RC6 and the second adapting a Feistal network which is iterated 256 bits RC6 20 times. A desirable property of an encryption algorithm is that a small change in either the plaintext or the key should produce a significant change in the ciphertext. This is so called valanche Effect. An Avalanche Effect of 128 bit RC6 is about 43.25%. If we change the same amount of information in key for 512 bits RC6 then the Avalanche Effect is about 257.27%. The proposed algorithm is resistant to matching and a dictionary attack which increases the security of the previous 128 bits RC6 algorithm by using a block size of 512 bits instead of 128 bits.

Abstract - The rapid developments in communication networks and the Internet
have led to propose an encryption algorithm based on a new transfer audio data across
networks more quickly. A reduction of data audio files transferred across the network
without loss of data led to merging algorithms to compress data at third-level with
encryption algorithm, which maintains the confidentiality of information transmitted
across the network. This merging is aimed at the transfer of data encryption honestly
with rapid retrieving.
The results are obtained by the adoption of the proposed encryption algorithm to
generate a random key for possible restoration of the original data files, audio files
recorded after the receipt of data without any loss of information.

Abstract – Water has become the most important problem in relations between the countries of the Middle East in the recent years. It occupies an important place on the agenda of several international organizations. Water control and reduction loss of water discharge is a major challenge facing the design of new irrigation projects. A downstream control algorithm for demand operation of irrigation system is proposed in this paper through maintaining downstream end discharge of the canal at the target point by manipulating the upstream sluice gate in real time. The control of the water level and discharge for canal irrigation system has non-linear, time-varying and uncertainty characteristics. This paper compares three control algorithms; conventional PID, fuzzy neural network PID, and PID neural network control based on fuzzy neural network model. The simulation results show that the first control has larger over-shoot, longer adjusting time and poorer anti-interference ability. The second control overcomes above-mentioned short-comings, small overshoot, faster response speed, very small steady state error. Third control produces better effects than previous controllers in both steady performance and dynamic performance, including shorter steady-state time, non-overshot, no oscillator, and higher dynamic tracking rate.

Abstract –Job-Shop Scheduling (JSS) processes have highly complex structure in
terms of many criteria. Because there is no limitation in the number of the process and
there are many alternative scheduling. In JSS, each order that is processed on different
machines has its own process and process order. It is very important to put these
processes into a sequence according to a certain order. In addition, some constraints
must be considered in order to obtain the appropriate tables.
In this paper, a 3-layers Feed Forward Backpropagation Neural Network (FFBNN) has
been used for two different purposes, the first one task is to obtain the priority and the
second one role is to determine the starting order of each operation within a job.
Precedence order of operations indicates the dependency of subtasks within a job,
Furthermore, the combined greedy procedure along with the back propagation algorithm
will align operations of each job until best solution is obtained. In particular, greedy
type algorithm will not always find the optimal solution. However, adding a predefined
alignment dataset along with the greedy procedure result in optimal solutions.

Abstract –This paper presents a fuzzy based adaptive controller for a three-axis SCARA robot (Selective Compliance Articulated Robot Arm) in the presence of non- linearities, uncertainties and external perturbations. The nonlinear system is treated as a partially known system. The known dynamic is used to design a nominal feedback controller based on the well-known feedback linearization method and Proportional Derivative (PD) controller. A fuzzy Proportional Integral (fuzzy-PI) based adaptive tracking controller is applied to further improves the control action. Compensation for the effects of the system uncertainties have been achieved and noticeable improvement of the tracking performance has been obtained. The improvements are based on simplified controller design and improved performance characteristics in terms of highly reduced maximum absolute error.

Hospital Management System (HMS) is a computerizing scheme used to simplify several efforts of the working in a hospital. The system deals with all the requirements of different hospitals to offer efficient services to patients. In addition, it stores the patients’ information for long term for historical records. In this paper, we design and implement a web based HMS for group of hospitals in Iraq. The system provides an efficient link between the hospital’s departments including the laboratories, radiology, pharmacy and the consultants. The proposed system gives simple access to basic data, thus enabling the management to take better decisions on time. The website is designed using PHP, HTML and CSS environments, while the database is built utilizing MySQL version 5.7.11. As a case study, two hospitals (Margan in Babylon and Ibn-Alnafees in Baghdad) have been considered. The results show that the proposed system has achieved high performance and accuracy in terms of provided health services, data management and time consuming.

Abstract:
This paper presents an effective method for improving the performance of speaker identification system based on the multiresolution properly of the wavelet transform, the input speech signal is decomposed into L subbands. To capture the characteristic of the vocal tract, the liner prediction code of each band (including the linear predictive code (LPC)for full band) are calculated.
The feature recombination schemes combines the LPC of each band and LPC for full band in single feature vector then the Euclidean distance measure is used to perform the similarity measure between the test and reference speech. Experimental results shows that the proposed method achieve better performance than speaker identification using LPC and real cepstral coefficients.

Lab VIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) is gaining its popularity as a graphical programming language especially for data acquisition and measurement. This is due to the vast array of data acquisition cards and measurement systems which can be supported by LabVIEW as well as the relative ease by which advanced software can be programmed. One area of application of LabVEW is in the measuring and analyzing of radial temperature distribution. This paper describes a LabVIEW based data acquisition and analysis developed specifically for radial temperature distribution. The temperature is simultaneously measured and displayed.

Abstract:
This paper proposes a neural controller to guide a nonholonomic mobile robot during trajectory tracking. The structure of the controller used consists of two models that describe the kinematical mobile robot system. These models are modified Elman neural networks (MENN) and feed forward multi-layer perceptron (MLP). The modified Elman neural networks model is trained with two stages; off-line and on-line, in order to guarantee that the outputs of the model accurately represent the actual outputs of the mobile robot system. The neural model, after being trained, acts as the position and orientation predictor. The feed forward multi-layer perceptron neural networks controller is trained on-line to find the inverse kinematical model, which controls the outputs of the mobile robot system. The general back propagation algorithm is used to learn the feed forward kinematics neural controller and the predictor. The results obtained from the conducted simulation show the effectiveness of the proposed neural control algorithm. This is demonstrated by the minimized tracking error and the smoothness of the control signal obtained.

Learning of the presented controller depends on the training data that comes from
running the switching gain controller at different conditions of drive. The training data
consist of relative velocity error, distance error and braking force. The feed-forward
neural network is used to build direct neural controller with two hidden layers and using
back-propagation training algorithm. The performance of the presented controller is
validated using nonlinear braking model. Simulation results show the presented
controller is able to prevent the collision of vehicles at different driving conditions.
Also, the results show superiority of the direct neural controller in comparison with the
switching gain controller at all drive cases that are tested in this work.

In this paper the performance of speech compression system using discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is investigated .Two methods are used for this purpose ;in the first only discrete wavelet transform is used .In the second method linear predictive coding (LPC) in wavelet transform is used . Both methods are used differential pulse code modulation (DPCM) for quantization with optimum selection of quantization parameters using L1oyd algorithm. Huffman code is used for both methods to increase the compression ratio without effect on the quality performance of speech signal. The results show that DPCM with DWT gives the best performance than when it is used with LPC and DWT. For speech compression using DWT, for n=3 and 4,Db10 gives high quality measure and less CF. For n=1 and 2,Db2 gives better results for compression factor and quality measures. For speech compression using LPC and DWT, Db6 gives good performance .

Abstract: This paper discusses the transient voltage stability of a synchronous generator at its bus in a power system with a detailed transient modeling for the generator after being subjected to a three phase fault, and designing a Takagi-Sugeno first order fuzzy logic controller with center of area defuzzification algorithm as a fuzzy logic controller based exciter to stabilize the terminal voltage and to damp its oscillations so as to keep the generator under balanced working conditions. The proposed exciter can be easily modified by changing the steady state field voltage value to be applied to any other synchronous generator. This paper also used the integral of square error as an indicator of the terminal voltage stability and monitored all of the generator variables specially the rotor angle to see whether the generator will maintain synchronism or not after the occurrence of the fault.

Abstract - The rapid increase of connection-demand to the internet application
services and highly traffic network is the main reason behind the need to scale a reliable
network. This paper presents the steps of how to make the network reliable by using
Redundancy scheme and how to balance traffic load in order to reach optimal network.
The implemented network is based on IEEE 802 LAN standard in which the equipment
used in the topology is 3745Cisco’s routers module and 2960 Ether Switch.
Also the Hot Standby Redundancy Protocol (HSRP), Gateway Load Balancing Protocol
(GLBP), and Virtual Redundancy Routing Protocol (VRRP) are implemented in this
work. Many tests in this work in order to achieve the load balancing of the implemented
protocols (test the redundancy scheme) and to test the network performance through
CPU utilization, bandwidth consumption by protocols, and measure the convergence
time of the implemented protocols in the network. This paper gives a guideline for
Internet Service Provider’s Network (ISP) in order to avoid loss of information and
increase the productivity and revenue. The obtained results show that the GLBP has the
best performance in terms of CPU utilization and convergence time, and also in link
consumption in comparison with HSRP and VRRP protocols for the same conditions.

These controllers are: basic H∞ controller, robust Genetic Algorithm (GA) based PID (GAPID) controller and robust Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based PID (PSOPID) controller. In the second and third controllers, the GA and PSO methods are used to tune the parameters of PID controller subject to multi-objective cost function (H∞ constraints and time domain specifications). The use of GA and PSO methods is used to simplify the design procedure and to overcome the difficulty of the resulting high order controller of the basic H∞ controller. The ability of the proposed controllers in compensating the system with a wide range of system parameters change is demonstrated by simulation using MATLAB 7.14.

Abstract – Thermocouples are usually used for measuring temperatures in steel industry, gas turbine, diesel engine and many industrial processes. Thermocouple usually have nonlinear Temperature-Voltage relationship (mV=f(T˚)). However, on the monitoring side, it is required to have the inverse relationship [T˚=f-1(mV)] to determined the actual temperature sensed by the thermocouple. In this work the neural network is fully utilized to represent the required inverse nonlinear relationship of different and most popular thermocouples (K, J, B) Types. Levenberg Marquardt is used as learning process to find these neural networks. It is found that each type of thermocouples under test can be represented by a single neural network structure. Moreover, the obtained results show the power of neural network in representing the inverse static relationship of each thermocouple that gives less than 1% of the actual measured temperature in the whole temperature range in comparison to polynomial fitting method.

Abstract –A fast, simple and effective method to recognize different hand writing
numbers is presented. Hand writing recognition took high attention in the recent years
by researcher of the intelligent systems, since it can be used in many applications such
as car plate recognition and bank account checking. The purpose of this paper is to
develop a method for hand writing numbers detection by using artificial neural network.
The suggested work is divided mainly into four stages and is proposed to resolve the
digits number (i.e., hand writing numbers). Image sample of hand writing numbers is
acquired by a digital camera or scanner, and then it is converted by using the suggested
work which is consisted of four stages to resolve digits. Artificial neural network
(ANN) was applied to recognize the hand writing numbers. Learning method of the
ANN is back propagation and all process handled by MATLAB language.
