The rapid growth of the human population and the spread of many bad habits affect the health of human beings, this leads to many health problems, such as heart disease, blood pressure, and diabetes. Some of these diseases require earlier detection and fast treatment, to avoid major risks, such as permanent damage or even life loss. The fast evolution of communications and nanotechnology nowadays is being facilitated to help with saving lives before great damage happens. This paper suggests a special architecture through which to monitor patients remotely using an Internet of Things (IoT)architecture for the purpose of notifying the paramedics and health care centers to rescue the life of cardiovascular patients. The experiments, after attempts with several types of classification algorithms, showed that The result shows that The decision tree has high accuracy for predicting the new heart attack and saving lives before happening of great damage .the result reached between( 83 to 87) percentage, which is a good percentage to avoid the risk of heart attacks and thus reducing death rates.

It is known that many individuals suffer from chronic diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, and sleep apnea, which requires constant monitoring, which is only found in the hospital, and the high cost that the individual cannot afford, especially at present. This paper proposes a system through which an individual can monitor vital signs and can use the wearable device by himself without the need for assistance. Wearable devices have been used from the sensors where the proposed system uses six sensors which are the electrocardiogram, the pulse oximeter, heart rate, blood pressure, skin temperature, temperature, and humidity as it collects data and then transfers it via Wi-Fi to the microcontroller on the Internet of things. The results of the sensors have been successfully obtained. Finally, linked them to the Blynk platform that displays the desired results for the individual.

It is well known that the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a part of different fields of modern life (self-managing life). The automation of operating the WSN without any need for human efforts develops the technique used in this network in terms of power consumption, costs, and so on. In this paper, the WSN application that adopts the self-managing property is presented as well as applying this property in a greenhouse as a case study. It uses remote controlling technology for data exchanging in a multi-layer WSN. Different hardware and software equipment have been employed in the application based on self-managing techniques. Such hardware includes (NodeMCU ESP8266) as a microcontroller, Raspberry pi3 as a base station that captures the sensor reading from the node. Additionally, it was utilized two types of sensors (DS18B20, soil moisture) to sense the environmental parameters such as temperature and soil moisture and two actuators (LED1, LED2). The results show the proper performance of the presented WSN in terms of the self-managing side by checking the received data in real-time mode. These results are achieved for the threshold values of 25ᵒC temperature and 500 soil moisture as an upper level for operating the actuators.

The agriculture is vulnerable and sensitive to climate changes. These changes reduce the production while encouraging the growth of bush, which lead to water consumption extravagantly. In this paper, we proposed an automatic drip irrigation system based on calculating the required crop water and irrigation depth. The aim of the proposed system is to automatically compute irrigation scheduling of certain crop according to a crop type and climatological conditions. This system includes two parts: hardware and control center. The sensors send their real-time readings of the soil moisture and climatic information to the monitoring part of the system wirelessly and then save them in database server. The hardware part consists of a main unit represented by ARDUINO Uno and sensors of soil moisture and DHT11. The wireless communication link between the hardware and control center parts are covered using Bluetooth HC-06. In the control center, the database is built using SQL server 2015 and the related Graphical User Interface (GUI) frames is designed using Visual Studio C#. The proposed system has been presented in a prototype to represent the case study and the obtained results show a clear reduction of power and water consumption.
